We received official authorisation to use the PEFC certification mark. As industry experts already know, this is an important acknowledgement which allows companies who can proudly display it to defend the environment in deeds as well as words. Being able to declare that we use PEFC-certified panels for our components is a hugely important achievement for us. The PEFC, or Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes, is an independent, non-profit organisation which recognises and approves national forest certification schemes, offering buyers of wood and paper the chance to endorse sustainable forestry practices, promoting the image of wood as a renewable raw material and supporting responsible forest management.
